GET SET Meeting # 3 May-31-2014 Shoreline Community College - Shoreline Science Fair

Hello All,

This is where we will be headed on May-31-2014:

All 3 team-members will PICK a common timeslot and attend the fair.
Go around the different tables and learn from the students. Each student on the team will write a journal entry titled "A trip to the Shoreline Science Fair" and write a 1 whole page article on what you saw, what you learnt and HOW the various projects inspired you to present one on your own in the future.

Between today and May-31-2014, I want all the 4 teams to complete reading the books/articles related to your project theme and log entries in your journal. Again I want all 3 students to read each book and write in the journal.

When we meet on JUNE-14 (our 4th meeting), each team member will talk for 2 minutes on "What I learnt watching videos and reading the books?"  Am requesting parents to coach their kids at home. (esp., the Elementary grades).

Pointers:
1) No shaking/tilting when you are on stage
2) Give a firm shake-hand to the Judge and introduce yourself well
3) Don't look at the board or the paper
4) Do not chew gum.
5) Make eye-contact with the judge.
6) Smile - when you greet the judge.
7) Be audible.
